Duration: 10 minutes

Music for Euripides’ The Children of Herakles was written as incidental music for a production of Euripedes’ play by the same name. The music is designed to capture the ritualistic quality of classical greek drama, and draws inspiration from what we know about how music was used in the theater of Euripedes’ time.

In concert the music may be played as a suite in the following configurations and orderings:

parts 1 – 8
parts 1, 2, 5, 4, and 8
parts 1, 7, 2, 6, 5, and 8
any part individually
